Methods in Nutrition & Gut Microbiome Research: An American Society for Nutrition Satellite Session

IAFNS has joined the American Society for Nutrition in an effort to harmonize approaches to studying the gut microbiome to better explore these connections. The scientific session summarized how improving the accuracy, precision and comparability of microbiome research will build understanding of the associations between the microbiome, health and disease prevention.

Perspective: Challenges and Strategies to Reduce the Sodium Content of Foods by the Food Service Industry

This perspective article provides an overview of the challenges and strategies that have been used by the food service industry to reduce sodium in foods away from home, as well as future sodium reduction strategies.
