Session 1 -- Current Status and Knowledge Gaps of PFAS Analytical Methodology
Washington, DC, USA
June 23, 2020
10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Virtual

Evidence suggesting that bioaccumulation of certain per- and polyfluoroalkyl (PFAS) compounds may cause serious health conditions highlights the need for advancing knowledge on exposure routes from food and the associated health risks of PFAS. This IAFNS symposium aims to inform risk assessment of PFAS in foods and ingredients. The symposium will address status and challenges of PFAS detection and analysis, exposure routes and toxicity mechanisms. The virtual symposium aims to identify knowledge gaps in these areas that could translate into science projects.
